Privacy Policy

Effective date:

This policy explains how the current development builds of Arrowpath (Android package com.arrowpath.game) handle information. It applies to the app and support correspondence about the app and describes the implemented features as of the effective date.

Privacy at a glance: Arrowpath plays offline without an account. Your game progress, preferences, and puzzle cache stay on your device. The current app has no advertising, analytics, in-app purchases, or cloud sync.

1. Who we are

Arrowpath is operated by AC Utveckling (AC mobiltillbehör HB), based in Sweden.

For privacy questions, contact claeseriksson@acutveckling.com.

2. Information stored on your device

The app saves the following information locally so you can resume play and keep your preferences:

Progress and settings are saved in arrowpath_progress.cfg; generated puzzles are cached in arrowpath_puzzle_cache_v1.bin. The Godot engine may also create local logs and cache files used to run or diagnose the app. These files remain on the device and are not uploaded by the app.

Arrowpath does not require your name, email address, location, contacts, or payment information to play. It does not access your camera or microphone.

3. Collection, sharing, and security

The current app does not connect to the network or transmit game progress, settings, puzzle layouts, or engine logs to us or third parties. We cannot access the records stored only on your device and do not sell or share them.

The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking services, in-app purchases, or developer-operated cloud synchronization.

On Android, local files are held in the app’s private storage, protected by Android’s app storage controls. Android app backup is disabled in the current build. On Windows, the app uses your user account’s app-data folder and the operating system’s access controls. Keep your device and user account secure; the app does not provide a separate password or encryption system for its saves.

4. Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you reset progress, clear the app’s storage, or remove its app-data files. In the app’s Settings, Reset all progress clears journey stars, the current puzzle, random completion count, and paused journey. It preserves your appearance, sound, and grid preferences and does not remove the generated-puzzle cache or engine files.

On Android, delete all app-local records through Android Settings → Apps → Arrowpath → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Clearing cache alone does not erase saved progress.

On Windows, close the app and delete its app-data folder, normally %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Arrowpath\, to remove saves, puzzle caches, and local engine files. Deleting the executable or its download folder does not erase this separate app-data folder.

Copies you create yourself through device transfers or external backup tools must be deleted separately.

5. Contact correspondence

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and resolve support issues, based on our legitimate interest in providing support. Email providers process correspondence to deliver and store it.

We retain correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request, relevant follow-up, or legal obligations. Please avoid sending information that is unnecessary for your support request. You can contact us to ask about or request deletion of your correspondence.

6. Your rights

Where applicable under GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or data portability, and object to processing of your personal information. Contact claeseriksson@acutveckling.com to exercise your rights. We cannot remotely access or delete game data stored only on your device; you can remove it using the steps above.

Read more about your data protection rights. You may also lodge a complaint with Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.

7. Children

The same offline, local-only gameplay practices apply to all players, including children. No personal information is required to play, and the current app does not collect personal information from players.

8. Policy changes

We will update this page and its effective date if the app’s features or data practices change, including before adding features that collect or transmit information. This policy describes the current development builds; future releases may have an updated policy.
